Planning a journey

By train

Crawley station is a few minutes' walk south of Queens Square, on the Arun Valley line. Southern trains run north to Gatwick Airport and London Victoria, and south to Horsham and the coast. Three Bridges station, on the main London to Brighton line, has more trains to London, Gatwick and Brighton, including Thameslink services. For tickets and step-free access, use National Rail's Crawley station page and its Three Bridges page.

By bus

Metrobus runs most of Crawley's buses, linking the town centre with every neighbourhood, and its Fastway buses run to Gatwick Airport. The main stops are on The Broadway and at the bus station. See every bus serving Crawley on bustimes.org, which covers all operators.

By road

The M23 runs along the east side of Crawley, between the M25 and Brighton, and the A23 runs through the town. National Highways' live travel updates cover current incidents, disruption and major-road closures, while one.network shows local roadworks and closures in and around Crawley.

Airports

Gatwick Airport is a few minutes away by train or bus. Check the airports' own live boards before setting out: Gatwick departures, Gatwick arrivals, Heathrow departures and Heathrow arrivals.
