For venues and organisers

Event submission terms

The rules for submitting your own events and posters to PostcodeGo and the Go local guides. Version of 3 November 2026.

These terms apply to every venue, organiser and business that submits events to PostcodeGo or to one of the Go local guides (LewesGo, BrightonGo, SeafordGo, VilamouraGo and the other Go guides), all run by SCC Nexus Limited. You accept them when you apply, and again each time you submit an event. Apply to submit events, or sign in if you are approved.

Who can submit

We approve each venue or organiser before it can submit: we check that the venue exists at the address you give, that the website is your own, and that the email addresses you list belong to you. Only those approved addresses can sign in, with a one-time code we email each time. Keep access to them to people who are allowed to speak for your venue, and tell us at once if one should no longer be used.

What you may submit

Our checks, and our final say

You are responsible for what you submit. Once we approve a venue, its events appear without a further check, and we may still edit the wording to fit our style, decline or remove an event, and pause or block a venue or any of its addresses, at any time, with or without notice, if these terms are not kept. We tell you why when we decline or remove something. Approval can be withdrawn.

Plans and payment

The free plan includes one event a month as a one-line listing. Paid plans (Basic, up to five events a month with posters, and Venue, unlimited events at your venue with posters and one event spotlight a month) are paid in advance for one, three, six or twelve months, by card or invoice. Nothing renews by itself: when the months you paid for end, you are back on the free plan. Prices are in pounds sterling; SCC Nexus Limited is not registered for VAT. Events count towards the month in which you submit them. If we end your access early for our own reasons, we refund the unused whole months; if we end it because these terms were broken, we do not.

Your information

We keep the details you give us (names, email addresses, your events and their history) to run this service, as our privacy notice explains. Your venue's name, address and events are published; your email addresses are not.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version and date are at the top of this page, and we tell approved venues of important changes. The law of England and Wales applies. Questions: use our contact form.
